Gear, Engraving & Western Fabricating

Almost an art show in and of itself, the Pendleton Cattle Barons Bit, Spur and Engraving Show exhibits literally the best work in the world. With entries from all over North America, the show displays amazing working bits, spurs, knives, and nearly anything the imagination can conjure. The Bit, Spur & Engraving show begins Friday from noon to 7pm and continues Saturday from 9am to 5pm.

Artists from around the country will bring their best creations that capture the western way of life for their chance to win Best In Show. We’ll be exhibiting this completely unique collection of finery during the Cattle Baron’s Weekend for everyone to enjoy. Many pieces will be for sale. New this year: We will be showcasing entries online for sale. Take a piece of authentic cowboy gear home with you.

Featured artists in the show have included:

  • Shawn Didyoung, 2013 Engraver of the Year from Laurel, Montana

  • Ernie Marsh, Past President of the Traditional Cowboy Artists Association, from Etna, Wyoming

  • Diane Scalese, Master Engraver and GRS teacher
