Larry Patterson and his family – wife Jayne Ann and sons Trevor and Tyson have been engaged in the livestock business all their lives. Larry and Jayne Ann have four grandsons – Owen, Devin, Pryor & Bray - and are hoping to continue the legacy.

Larry has been a stock contractor providing cattle for the Cattle Barons Ranch Rodeo for many years with help from their son Trevor. Larry provided the calves but also transported them for us. He was the rodeo coach for the BMCC rodeo team for 40 years, leading a very successful program and developing many talented contestants. When Larry retired, the Legacy continued with son Trevor taking over as BMCC rodeo coach and continuing to provide cattle for Cattle Baron’s events. Larry still provides practice cattle for the team that keeps him involved.

Larry owned and operated a cattle backgrounding/grow lot business near Echo for many years. The support of his wife and family allowed him to be successful in these endeavors and give back to the community. The board is honored to present the 2024 Pendleton Cattle Barons Legacy Award to Larry Patterson and his family. Thank you, Larry, Jayne Ann, and the rest of the
