16 team limit WSRRA Qualifier $600/ 4-person team –$1,000 added

 

Please note the format change from 2023.  This year we will be having the ranch rodeo both nights, but competitors will get to choose which night to compete, Friday or Saturday.  First come, first serve.  We are limiting the Ranch Rodeo to 8 teams each night.   The three events that will go towards your overall team score will be: 1. Team Branding  2. Ranch Sort and Doctor, and  3. Trailer Loading and Tie Down.  The goal was to shorten the performances and also be able to have the Ranch Saddle Bronc event on both nights.  As in years past, your placing will be based on combined time on the three events. 

We are also offering Steer Stopping for the ladies and mixed team branding.

 

  • During the trailer loading event, riding your horse into the trailer this year will not be allowed.

Event 6. Women's Steer stopping

DISCLAIMER: I am 18 years or older and I have entered this event on my own volition. I hereby release and hold harmless the producers of this event, its directors, co-workers, stock contractors, pickup men, judges, the Pendleton Round Up, Happy Canyon Association, the Pendleton Cattle Barons and any other individuals or organization associated with this event from liability for any and all injury, damage or death that I, my family or helpers might incur associated with or during the event.

 

If contestant is under 18 years old, parents’ signature is required to enter. Eligibility to all events is determined by the Pendleton Cattle Barons board. Each team may enter each event only once (with exception of Select Ranch Horse Team Branding). Fees below include cattle charges.

    Entry Fee: $600/Team, 15 Team Limit (WSRRA qualifier)

  • MIXED TEAM BRANDING: $250/4-person team – (AT LEAST 2 MEMBERS MUST BE 18 OR UNDER OR FEMALE)
